Benefits of Rope Flow

Low Impact

Meditative Movement

Natural Rotational Movements, Functional, Improves mobility

Body awareness (propioception)

Mental Challenge – as you learn new moves

Meets you where you’re at – if you just need to clear your mind, get some movement in, or it can be as intensive as you want it to be, increase the speed if you want a cardio session, incorporate some legwork.

Traditional strength training is static, holds, stiff

Improves balance, use both sides of your body, train your non-dominant side.

Can be done anywhere, anytime. All you need is a rope and some space.

Misconceptions

Will it hurt if I get hit by the rope?

No, you’re usually moving much slower than you would be with a skipping rope.

It looks soo difficult & tehcnical!

Don’t be intimidated, everyone wants to look cool so they only post videos of them doing it when they’re proficient, but it’s actually easier than jumping rope because you don’t need to worry as much about timing and your legs.
